- 2 slices bread (white or whole grain)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 75 g brunost (brown cheese)
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or honey (optional garnish)

Butter one side of each bread slice generously and place butter-side down in the skillet.
