Ingredients
- 2 lb pork belly
- 4 stalks scallions
- 6 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 whole star anise
- 2 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Cut pork belly into 1-inch cubes and blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes; drain.

Heat oil in a pot, add sugar, and caramelize until golden brown.

Add pork belly and stir to coat with caramel; cook until lightly browned.
