Ingredients

  • 4 whole lobster tails
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 whole lemon
  • 4 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. 1

Fill a large pot with 8 cups water and 2 tbsp salt. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

Add the 4 lobster tails to the boiling water. Cook until the shells turn bright red and the meat is opaque, about 8-10 minutes.

  3. 3

Remove the lobster tails with tongs and let them rest for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the 4 tbsp butter in a small saucepan over low heat until just melted.

  4. 4

Cut the 2 lemons into wedges. Serve the lobster tails hot with lemon wedges and the melted butter for dipping.
