Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¾ cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1

Pour 0.5 cup rolled oats into a jar or container that has a tight-fitting lid.

  2. 2

Add 0.5 cup plain yogurt and 0.5 cup milk to the jar with the oats.

  3. 3

Stir the oats, yogurt, and milk together until well combined with no dry oat streaks visible.

  4. 4

Fold in 0.75 cup fresh blueberries by gently stirring them into the mixture so they distribute evenly.

  5. 5

Pour in 1 tablespoon honey and 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract, then stir until the mixture is uniform.

  6. 6

Cover the jar with the lid and place it in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 4 hours, until the oats have absorbed the liquid and softened.

  7. 7

In the morning, remove the jar from the refrigerator and stir well, adding a splash more milk if the texture is too thick.

  8. 8

Eat straight from the jar or pour into a bowl and serve at room temperature or chilled, as you prefer.
