Ingredients

  • ¾ lb beef sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 whole lime (juiced)
  • 2 whole garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes or sambal oelek

Instructions

    Thread beef cubes onto skewers, alternating with space between each cube.

    Mix 2 tbsp soy sauce with minced garlic. Brush all over skewers, coating well.

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Sear skewers 2 minutes per side without moving until edges are deeply charred.

    Whisk peanut butter, lime juice, remaining 1 tbsp soy sauce, and red pepper flakes with 2 tbsp warm water until smooth.
