Ingredients

  • 1.25 lbs ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup green olives, pitted
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced

Instructions

    Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute.

    Add diced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and edges brown, about 4 minutes.

    Add ground beef, breaking it into small crumbles with a wooden spoon, until no pink remains, about 5 minutes.

    Stir in cumin, tomato sauce, olives, and raisins. Simmer uncovered for 6 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
