Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp sugar until dissolved; set aside.

  2. 2

Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the 1 lb sliced beef and cook, stirring, until browned and just cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add 2 cups broccoli florets and 2 cups bean sprouts with 2 tbsp water. Cover and steam until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.

  4. 4

Return beef to the skillet, pour in the soy sauce mixture, and stir everything together until the sauce coats the beef and vegetables, about 1 minute.

  5. 5

Divide 2 cups cooked rice between two bowls. Top with the beef and vegetable mixture, spooning any extra sauce over the top.
