Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ lb ground pork
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp ajvar (roasted red pepper spread)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Mix beef and pork with a pinch of salt and pepper. Form into two thin, loose patties about 5 inches wide.

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high until crispy, ~4 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

In the same skillet, sear patties 2–3 minutes per side without moving. Tops should look deeply browned.

Lay one patty on a plate. Top with bacon, then cheese, then the second patty. Cover with a lid for 60 seconds to melt.

Stir ajvar and mayo together. Spread on a toasted bun or serve on the side as a dipping sauce.
