Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • ¼ cup nuts

    Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter or oil.

    In a shallow bowl, whisk 2 eggs with 1/2 cup milk until smooth. Dip 4 bread slices in the mixture, coating both sides.

    Arrange the soaked bread in the prepared dish. Slice 1 banana over the top, then scatter 1 cup mixed berries and 1/4 cup nuts evenly.

    Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the top is golden and the custard is set (a knife inserted comes out clean).
