Ingredients

  • 2 strips bacon strips
  • 1 whole large egg
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese or American cheese
  • 1 whole butter croissant
  • 1 cup fresh fruit salad
  • ¼ tsp salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

  2. 2

In the same skillet, crack the egg and cook until whites set but yolk still jiggles, ~3 minutes.

  3. 3

Season egg with salt and pepper. Warm the croissant in the skillet 30 seconds per side, then halve it horizontally.

  4. 4

Layer the bottom croissant half with bacon, egg, and cheese slice. Top with the other half.

  5. 5

Serve the croissant immediately with fresh fruit on the side.
