Ingredients
- 2 slice bread slices
- 2 strip bacon strips
- 1 large egg
- 2 leaf lettuce leaves
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Cook the 2 bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- 2
Pour out most of the bacon fat, leaving about 1 tsp in the skillet. Crack the 1 egg into the skillet and cook over medium heat until the white is set and the yolk is cooked to your liking, about 3-4 minutes. Season with the 1 pinch salt and 1 pinch black pepper.
- 3
While the egg cooks, toast the 2 bread slices in a toaster or under the broiler until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Spread the 1 tbsp mayonnaise evenly over one side of each toasted bread slice.
- 5
Place the 2 lettuce leaves on one slice of bread, then top with the cooked bacon and the fried egg.
- 6
Close the sandwich with the other bread slice, mayonnaise side down. Slice in half and serve immediately.
