Ingredients

  • 2 burger buns
  • 4 bacon slices
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook the 4 bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp, about 6 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.

  2. 2

Toast the 2 burger buns in the same skillet over medium heat until golden, about 1 minute per side. Set aside.

  3. 3

Melt the 1 tbsp butter in the skillet over medium heat. Crack the 2 eggs into the pan and cook until the whites are set and the edges are crispy, about 3 minutes. Flip and cook 1 minute more for a firm yolk, or leave runny.

  4. 4

Place the bacon on the bottom buns, top with the fried eggs, and sprinkle with the 0.5 tsp black pepper. Cover with the top buns and serve hot.

  5. 5

Optional: add ketchup, hot sauce, or cheese if you like.
