Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. 1

Peel, core, and chop the 4 apples into chunks. Place them in a medium saucepan with the 0.5 cup water.

  3. 3

Stir in the 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 0.5 tsp cinnamon. Mash with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency.

  4. 4

Taste and add more sugar or cinnamon if you like. Serve warm or chilled.
