Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups salsa verde (jarred)
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) hominy (canned, drained)
  • 2 cups rotisserie pork or canned pork, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 whole lime (for juice + wedges)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

    Pour salsa verde, hominy, pork, and broth into a large pot over medium-high heat.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for 10 minutes until flavors meld.

    Squeeze half a lime into the pot and stir in half the cilantro.

    Taste and adjust with salt, pepper, and another lime squeeze if needed.
