Turkish Lamb Kofte with Crispy Fries

Ingredients
- ½ lb ground lamb
- ¼ medium, finely minced yellow onion
- 1 tsp combined (or 1 tsp Turkish spice blend) cumin, paprika, and black pepper
- ½ lb frozen french fries
- 1 cup prepared cooked white rice
- 1 whole green bell pepper
- 2 whole Roma tomato

Start the fries in a skillet over medium-high heat with 2 tbsp oil, stirring occasionally until golden, ~12 minutes. Season with salt.

While fries cook, mix ground lamb with minced onion, cumin, paprika, pepper, and a pinch of salt. Form into 4 oval patties.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a second skillet over medium-high until shimmering. Sear lamb patties 3 minutes per side until charred outside, interior stays pink.

In the same skillet as the lamb, add halved pepper and tomato halves cut-side down. Sear 2 minutes per side until blistered and caramelized.

Warm the rice in a microwave or small pot, ~2 minutes. Plate rice, top with kofte, and surround with grilled vegetables and fries.
