Ingredients
- ¾ lb white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or similar)
- 3 tbsp tamarind paste
- 1 cup daikon radish, cut into 1-inch pieces
- ½ medium yellow onion, quartered
- 1 whole long red chili, halved lengthwise
- 4 cups fish or chicken stock
- ½ tsp kosher salt

Bring stock to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Stir in tamarind paste until dissolved, breaking up any clumps.

Add radish, onion, and chili. Simmer until radish softens, ~8 minutes.
