Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz penne or elbow pasta
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. 1

Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon until no pink remains, about 6 minutes.

  2. 2

Add pasta, taco seasoning, and 2.5 cups of water to the skillet and stir well.

  3. 3

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered until pasta is tender and liquid mostly absorbs, about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
