Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup heavy cream, divided
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 lb russet potatoes, peeled
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 selection fresh vegetables (mashed potatoes sides: cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, green beans)

Cut potatoes into 1-inch chunks. Boil in salted water until fork-tender, ~12 minutes. Drain well.

While potatoes cook, mix ground beef, panko, 3 tbsp cream, and salt and pepper. Form into two thick patties.

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high until it foams. Sear patties 3 minutes per side without moving. Transfer to plate.

Mash hot potatoes with 2 tbsp butter and 3 tbsp cream until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
