Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • ½ cup hot water
  • 1 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

    Whisk matcha powder with hot water until no lumps remain, ~1 minute. Let cool slightly.

    Blend strawberries with 1 tbsp honey until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve if you prefer pulp-free.

    Divide ice between two tall glasses. Pour 1 tbsp strawberry puree into each glass.

    Pour matcha mixture evenly into each glass, then top with milk. Stir gently to blend or leave layered.
