Ingredients

  • 1.25 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 whole lemon (juiced + zested)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 3 whole fresh green onions, sliced thin

Instructions

    Cut chicken breasts into 1.5-inch cubes. Thread onto metal skewers, leaving a tiny gap between pieces.

    Mix harissa, honey, lemon zest, cumin, and paprika in a small bowl until smooth.

    Brush skewers generously with harissa mixture on all sides. Season with salt and pepper.

    Heat a grill pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high until it smokes lightly, about 2 minutes.

    Sear skewers 3 minutes per side without moving—aim for deep char marks. Cook until the thickest piece reads 165°F.

    Remove from heat. Drizzle with lemon juice, scatter green onions and fresh cilantro on top. Serve hot with orange slices and cherry tomatoes alongside.
