Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 4 pieces naan or pita flatbread
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sumac or dried oregano
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ cup fresh parsley and mint, chopped
  • 1 whole lemon

Instructions

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, ~90 seconds.

    Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until no pink remains, ~6 minutes.

    Stir in tomato paste, sumac, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute until fragrant.

    Warm flatbreads in the skillet 30 seconds per side, then transfer to a plate.

    Spoon beef mixture onto each flatbread and top with fresh herbs.

    Squeeze lemon over the top and serve immediately.
