Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (about 1.5 lbs) chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (Frank's RedHot or similar)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix mayo, vinegar, hot sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl until smooth. Set aside.

  2. 2

Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

  4. 4

Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side without moving until golden and cooked through (165°F internal).

  5. 5

Reduce heat to low. Spoon Alabama sauce generously over chicken and coat both sides.

  6. 6

Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
