Ingredients

  • 2 breasts (about 6 oz each) chicken breast
  • ¾ cup salsa
  • 1 whole, sliced avocado
  • 2 whole bun

Instructions

    Pat chicken breasts dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, then sear chicken 6 minutes per side without moving until golden.

    Pour salsa over the chicken and cook 2 more minutes until sauce is heated through.

    Toast the buns lightly in the same skillet or a toaster until golden, about 90 seconds.
