Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (7g) instant yeast
- ¾ cup milk, warmed
- ½ cup fruit jam (any flavor)
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- 1
Mix flour, yeast, 1 tbsp sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Pour warm milk in, stir until shaggy dough forms.
- 2
Knead dough on a floured surface for 2 minutes until it comes together—it will be sticky but that's fine.
- 3
Divide dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each, add 1 tsp jam in the center, fold edges up, and pinch to seal.
- 4
Place buns seam-side down on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Bake at 400°F for 12 minutes until golden brown.
- 5
Mix 2 remaining tbsp sugar with cinnamon. Dust warm buns while still on pan, then transfer to a plate.
