Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 whole eggs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted

    Combine butter and chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and melted.

    Whisk eggs and sugar together in another bowl until pale and slightly thick.

    Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture, then gently fold in the flour and a pinch of salt.

    Divide batter evenly among 4 microwave-safe mugs or ramekins.

    Microwave each mug on high for 60–75 seconds until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly.
