Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 serving cinnamon sticks and chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

    Heat milk in a saucepan over medium until steaming, about 3 minutes. Don't boil.

    Add chopped chocolate, cinnamon, honey, and vanilla. Stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.

    Pour into a tall cup or use a milk frother to whisk vigorously for 30 seconds until foam rises.

    Top with chocolate shavings and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
