Ingredients

  • 8 oz tortilla chips
  • 1.5 cups smoked brisket, sliced or shredded
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 whole jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

    Preheat the broiler to high. Spread tortilla chips on a 12-inch cast iron skillet in a single layer.

    Scatter brisket over the chips, then top with shredded cheddar until most chips are covered.

    Broil 3–4 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges of chips just start to brown.

    Remove from the broiler. Spoon black beans over the top and dot with sour cream.

    Scatter jalapeño slices and cilantro over everything. Serve immediately.
