Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs green beans, trimmed
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) canned crushed tomatoes
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

    Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.

    Add green beans and stir to coat with oil, about 2 minutes until edges start to soften.

    Pour in crushed tomatoes with their juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

    Simmer uncovered for 12–14 minutes until beans are very tender and sauce is slightly reduced.
