Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can (14 oz) canned crushed tomatoes
  • 4 whole garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.

    Add green beans and tomatoes with their juice. Stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

    Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for 15–18 minutes until beans are tender but not mushy.
