Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 14 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced small
  • 1 serving salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium. Add diced onion and cook until softened, ~4 minutes.

    Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Pour in crushed tomatoes and stir gently to combine.
