- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 1 medium lemon
- 2 tablespoons honey

In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups water and 2 cinnamon sticks to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until the water is deeply fragrant and lightly golden.

While the water simmers, wash the lemon and slice it into thin rounds. Remove any seeds.

Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the lemon slices and 2 tablespoons honey, stirring until the honey dissolves completely.

Pour the tea through a strainer into two mugs, or leave the lemon slices in for a stronger flavor. Serve hot, with an extra cinnamon stick in each mug if desired.
