Ingredients

  • 2 fillets (6 oz each) fish fillet (salmon or cod)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup white rice (cooked)

Instructions

    Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

    Sear fish skin-side down 3 minutes without moving until skin crisps.

    Flip and cook 2 more minutes until flesh is opaque at the thickest part.

    Pour honey and soy sauce over the fillets, tilting the pan to coat.

    Tilt and spoon glaze over fish for 30 seconds until sticky and glossy.

    Serve fish over warm rice with glaze drizzled on top.
