Ingredients

  • 2 fillets (6 oz each) salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Pat salmon dry with paper towels, then season both sides generously with lemon pepper.

    Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Sear salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes until the skin crisps and flesh turns opaque halfway up.

    Flip carefully and sear 2 minutes more until the center flakes gently under a fork.

    Add butter to the pan and tilt it over the fillets until melted and foamy, about 30 seconds.

    Slide onto plates and serve with garden salad and soy dipping sauce on the side.
