Ingredients
- 2 fillets (about 1.25 lb total) chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

Sear chicken 6–7 minutes per side without moving until golden brown and cooked through.
