Ingredients

  • 2 fillets (about 1.25 lb total) chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

    Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

    Heat 1 tbsp butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Sear chicken 6–7 minutes per side without moving until golden brown and cooked through.

    Remove chicken to a plate, then add remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic to the skillet.

    Cook garlic 30 seconds until fragrant, then stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.

    Return chicken to skillet, turn to coat with sauce, then serve immediately.
