Ingredients

  • 2 whole banana
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter
  • 2 tbsp toppings (optional: sprinkles, chopped nuts, or cocoa powder)

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut bananas in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick or skewer into each flat end.

  2. 2

Arrange banana pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

Combine chocolate and coconut oil in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring between, until smooth.

  4. 4

Working quickly, dip each frozen banana into warm chocolate, coating all sides. Let excess drip off.

  5. 5

If using toppings, sprinkle them onto chocolate before it sets. Return to freezer.

  6. 6

Freeze until chocolate hardens, 2–3 minutes. Serve immediately or store in freezer for up to 2 days.
