- 1 large egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil

In a bowl, mix 1 lb ground beef, 1 egg, 0.5 cup breadcrumbs, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp black pepper until just combined. Shape into a thick log about 6 inches long.
