Ingredients

  • ¾ lb white fish fillets (cod, mahi-mahi, or halibut)
  • 1 medium mango, diced
  • 1 whole lime (juiced)
  • ¼ cup red onion, minced
  • 1 whole avocado, sliced
  • 4 whole warm flour or corn tortillas
  • ½ tsp salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine diced mango, red onion, and half the lime juice in a small bowl.

  2. 2

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

  3. 3

Pat fish dry. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  4. 4

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

  5. 5

Sear fish without moving for 3 minutes. Flip once and cook until flaky, about 2 minutes.

  6. 6

Flake fish into bite-sized pieces. Warm tortillas over the same skillet, 30 seconds per side.

  7. 7

Fill tortillas with fish, mango salsa, and avocado slices.

  8. 8

Squeeze remaining lime juice over tacos. Serve immediately.
