Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Peel the 4 ripe bananas and slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Aim for even slices so they dry uniformly.
- 3
In a bowl, toss the banana slices with the 2 tbsp lemon juice to prevent browning and add a slight tang.
- 4
Arrange the slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each slice.
- 5
Bake for 2 to 3 hours, flipping the slices halfway, until they are dry to the touch and slightly chewy, not crispy.
- 6
Let the dried bananas cool completely on the baking sheet—they will firm up as they cool.
- 7
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or enjoy immediately.
