Ingredients

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough sheets
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 count egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Heat oven to 425°F. Line a muffin tin or small tart pan with phyllo sheets, brushing each lightly with melted butter.

    Whisk milk, egg yolks, granulated sugar, and cinnamon together until smooth and combined, ~1 minute.

    Pour custard into phyllo cups, filling each about three-quarters full.

    Bake until phyllo is golden brown and custard edges set but center jiggles slightly, 10–12 minutes.

    Remove from oven and let cool 2 minutes, then turn out onto a cooling rack.

    Dust generously with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm or at room temperature.
