Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen hash browns
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 whole egg

Instructions

    Preheat your waffle iron to high heat until it's hot, about 2 minutes.

    Divide hash browns between two waffle iron cavities, pressing down firmly with a spatula.

    Sprinkle half the cheese over each portion, then crack one egg into the center of each.

    Close the lid and cook until the edges are deep golden brown and the egg whites set, 5–7 minutes.

    Lift out with a fork, slice in half if desired, and serve hot.
