Ingredients

  • 2 medium (about 12 oz total) chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 3 tbsp sambal oelek (chili paste)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups lettuce (iceberg or romaine), sliced
  • ½ whole lime

Instructions

    Pound chicken breasts to 0.75-inch thickness between plastic wrap.

    Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper, then dredge in flour until fully coated.

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Fry chicken 5–6 minutes per side without moving until golden brown and cooked through.

    Toss hot chicken with 3 tbsp sambal oelek until evenly coated, then plate over lettuce.
