Ingredients

  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¼ lb squid, cleaned and cut into rings
  • ¼ lb scallops, side muscle removed
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Thai bird chili (or red chili flake)
  • 1 whole lime (juiced + zested)

Instructions

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Add shrimp, squid, and scallops in a single layer. Sear without stirring for 2 minutes until edges turn opaque.

    Flip the seafood, then add minced garlic and chili. Stir constantly for 60 seconds until fragrant.

    Squeeze lime juice over the pan and toss everything together. Remove from heat.

    Toast 4 slices of bread in the skillet (no oil needed) until golden and crispy, 90 seconds per side.

    Divide toast between plates, top with seafood mixture, and finish with lime zest and fresh cilantro.
