- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp chili paste or sambal oelek
- ½ tbsp white vinegar
- 1 whole scallion, sliced thin

Heat 2 tbsp neutral oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high until shimmering, ~90 seconds.
