Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground lamb
  • ⅓ cup pine nuts
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 4 pieces warm flatbread or pita
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp each ground cumin, cinnamon, and allspice
  • ½ cup total fresh parsley and mint, chopped

Instructions

    Toast pine nuts in a skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until golden and fragrant, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

    Add ground lamb to the same skillet with diced onion. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

    Stir in cumin, cinnamon, and allspice. Cook until fragrant, about 60 seconds. Season with salt and pepper.

    Warm flatbread in the skillet for 30 seconds per side, or wrap in foil and heat in a 350°F oven for 2 minutes.
