  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup cinnamon-sugar mixture cinnamon and granulated sugar
  • 2 cups neutral oil (vegetable or canola)
  • 4 oz dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup whole milk

    Mix flour and water in a bowl until a thick, smooth dough forms. Let rest 2 minutes.

    Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (use a thermometer). The surface should shimmer.

    Transfer dough to a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe 5-inch strips directly into hot oil.
