Crispy Chili-Honey Avocado Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (sourdough or thick-cut white)
  • 1 whole avocado, ripe
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes or chili crisp

    Toast the bread until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.

    While toast cools, halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop into a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Mash the avocado with a fork until it's broken up but still has some texture.

    Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high until it foams, then crack both eggs into the pan.
