Ingredients

  • 1 lb squid, cleaned and cut into rings
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 whole lemon, juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 cups neutral cooking oil
  • 2 whole lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

    Mix mayo, minced garlic, lemon juice, and paprika in a small bowl until smooth. Set the aioli aside.

    Pat squid rings dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, then toss in flour until fully coated.
