Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- ½ cup bell pepper (red or green), diced
- ½ tsp cumin
- 2 large pita bread or naan
- ½ whole lemon (juiced)

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high. Brown ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

Add diced onion and bell pepper. Cook 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and starting to caramelize.

Stir in cumin and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Slice each pita open to create a pocket. Stuff with beef mixture and squeeze lemon juice inside.

Wipe the skillet, add 1 tbsp oil, and heat over medium-high until shimmering.
