Ingredients
- 2 pieces pita bread (2 large)
- ¾ lb ground lamb
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1.5 tsp cumin, coriander, paprika (spice blend)
- 4 cloves garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses or red wine vinegar

Cut pita into rough 2-inch pieces. Toast in a dry skillet over medium-high heat, stirring often, until golden and crisp, ~4 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

Return skillet to heat with 1 tbsp oil. Add ground lamb, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, ~6 minutes. Stir in spice blend, garlic, and a pinch of salt.

Cook garlic 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in pomegranate molasses.

Stir yogurt with 1 minced garlic clove and a pinch of salt in a bowl until smooth.
