Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 large carrot, diced
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup brown lentils, rinsed
- 4 cup vegetable broth
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 to taste salt and black pepper to taste

Heat oil in a pot over medium. Add onion and carrot, stirring, until softened, 5–6 minutes.
